Sunday Lunch at Bon Appetit’s La Brasserie in Malahide offers unbeatable value for families. Parents can relax and enjoy a delicious meal while children eat for free! The three course lunch menu is priced at €23.95 for adults, €15 for children under 12 and with each adult that dines, a child eats for free. So a family of four can have a fabulous three course meal for under €50.
Parents will be glad to hear that Bon Appetit’s reputation for food excellence extends to the Children’s Menu. The Sunday Lunch at La Brasserie is prepared from scratch in line with the Kids Size Me nutrition initiative. Chef Oliver Dunne has used his experience as a father to create a menu that kids will love – and there are crayons for colouring in to keep them entertained. Golden Chicken Nuggets, Fishy Fingers or Moo Moo Steak are all freshly made and served with chips, mash or veg. Desserts include a scoop of ice cream, a chocolate brownie or a caramel slice.
Grown-ups will be spoilt for choice with six starters including Curried Smoked Haddock Risotto Cakes, and a Shaved Fillet of Beef. Of the six main courses on offer, the most popular is the Slow Roast Pork Belly with carrot & anise puree and black pudding. Mums & dads love dessert just as much as the kids, and you will love the White Chocolate Custard with poached rhubarb or the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with mixed berries.
