You asked

When will my baby start teething?

The first signs of teething usually begin a few months before the first milk tooth appears.

Teething often gets blamed for a variety of complaints, such as fever, vomiting, runny noses and rashes all of which could be signs of a different problem so it's important to know the common teething signs.

Teething should not make your baby ill, so if your baby is suffering from any of these conditions and you're unsure of the cause, consult your GP.

One good sign that your baby is teething is that they will want to chew everything they can get their hands on. You may also be able to feel the teeth if you run a clean finger along your baby's gums.
