Iced chocolate drink

This cold choclate drink is a perfect treat to cool you down on hot days.
Pecan nuts, crushed optional
180ml whole milk
2 tbsp hot chocolate powder
350g ice cubes
150g double cream
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Chocolate syrup, for serving
Heat the milk in a saucepan on a low-medium temperature and add the hot chocolate.
Allow to boil before taking if off the heat. Allow to cool.
Pour the chocolate and milk mix into a blender and add the ice cubes. Process until the icecubes are crushed.
Pour into 4 tall glasses and place in the fridge to cool for 30 minutes.
While the drink is cooling, whisk the cream with the vanilla extract until it is like whipping cream.
Remove the drinks from the fridge and top with the cream.
Garnish with chocolate syrup and sprinkle the pecan nut on top.
