Your child is often confident and proud of her physical skills, but she can easily misjudge distance and for this reason falls are quite common. As she turns six, what she thinks she can do and what she can do, will be much better matched.
Your child should also have good control in writing and drawing, and she can stay in between the lines when she’s colouring in.
Your five year enjoys being active and is good at climbing, sliding, swinging and dancing. She might also be learning to skip. She can stand on one foot for a short time and can hop forwards on each foot separately. If she’s been practicing, she may also be able to catch a medium sized ball.
