As any parent can attest, life, at times, can be far from easy.
From juggling family commitments to shouldering work responsibilities, it can be exceedingly difficult to strike a balance, especially if you throw pregnancy into the mix.
And while most people can acknowledge this, it sounds like they’re a little less understanding when the mum in question is Kim Kardashian,
The reality TV star has found herself the subject of ridicule in recent days when she purported to struggle with family life and all it entails.
Speaking to E! host, Ryan Seacrest, during a taping of his radio show, Kim admitted that she struggles to cope with family life while expecting another child.
Opening up about the issue, she explained: “My husband needs a lot of attention. Each kid needs a lot of attention.”
Elaborating on the problem, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star continued: “I work a lot and I want to be able to give everyone just the same amount of attention.”
And it appears the star’s struggle to meet everyone’s needs is exacerbated by her current pregnancy.
Having made no secret of her dislike for the nine-month journey in the past, Kim doesn’t intend to start now.
Commenting on her progress, the 35-year-old star said: “I am so over it. I am beyond over it.”
Acknowledging that her opinion of pregnancy hasn’t changed, she continued: ”I said this the last time. I said I am done. Don’t ever make me go through that again.”
Highlighting the features of pregnancy with which she is most opposed, she says: “How miserable it is, swollen feet and heartburn. It is the worst.”
The star, acutely aware of the public’s apparent perception of her, was quick to address the issue, telling Ryan: ”I think sometimes people think I am ungrateful for being pregnant.”
Dismissing their criticism, the star said: “It was really hard this time for me to get pregnant, but at the end of the day it doesn’t mean I have to like it.”
