The 34-year-old, who has been trying for a baby with husband Kanye West, has been told that she will need to have her uterus removed if she has another child.
The news is delivered to a shocked and upset Kim during the forthcoming episode of her reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and she is seen explaining the worrying news over the phone to her husband.
She tells him: “This doctor that I saw today told me every worst case scenario…he was like, ‘Ok, when you have your baby, this will be your last one. The problem is, your placenta grew onto your uterus. So when you have another baby, your placenta will go right to that hole and then we’ll have a team of doctors waiting right there, to remove your uterus and put you into emergency surgery right there because you can’t bleed too much.’”
The star, who is mum to 21-month-old daughter North, admits that she has been left in tears over the news, saying that it was “a little too much”.
She recently opened up on her and Kanye’s efforts to conceive again, revealing: “There is nothing more on this earth that I want than to be pregnant again.”
