A little boy narrowly avoided death and was left with a fractured skull after a horrific car accident in Cork.
The baby's buggy was crushed against a pole after a car mounted the footpath and crashed into another car which hit the buggy, according to The Evening Echo.
The little lad only escaped because of a narrow gap between the end of the buggy and the wall.
The accident happened at about 4 p.m. on Blackrock Road on Wednesday afternoon.
Gardai say the child only escaped death by "the grace of God."
Onlookers rushed to the aid of the baby and his mum and managed to pull the tot to safety.
The mother and baby were both taken to Cork University Hospital where the baby received treatment for his injuries and the mum was treated for shock and minor injuries.
The Gardaí are currently investigating the accidents.
